Glorious Fights We Call “Life”
When defeating me
I will feel no pain
And the joy within me
Will still remain
Despite my
Enemies gaining on me
Is this my fate?
Fifty years of my life
Oh what does it mean
To just barely survive?
Sometimes I wonder
Some of my enemies
Could be my lovers
See myself in their eyes
Oh I am never surprised
Glorious fights
In the wilderness we call life
The touch of my sword
Fills my heart with pure joy

I've been seeking to shine
